Express chutney

As much of a rock star as Mummy was in the kitchen; sometime she just didn't have the time to make a traditional savoury tomato based chutney from scratch. In times like these, the express chutney was her go-to

Ingredients:
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ tsp chili flakes
1 tsp water
1 lemon, juiced
¼ cup coriander leaves/stems, finely chopped
1 cup ketchup (yes good ‘ol classic ketchup)


Directions:
1. Combine above in a bowl
2. Mix to a loose paste consistency
3. Set aside


Note: Serve with kabobs, samosa, cutlass, dokero, anything that goes with a savoury chutney
